Le Roannay celebrates its 2nd birthday! Join us for a Rooftop Combes evening full of surprises!

Our Rooftop Combes concept? A festive evening with DJ Set in our “𝐿𝑒𝑠 𝐶𝑜𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑠” room upstairs and on its magnificent Rooftop terrace.

 

Special BIRTHDAY edition: saturday september 14, 8pm to 1am

To celebrate together the anniversary of Le Roannay, which reopened its doors at the end of summer 2022, we invite you to an exceptional evening, in a chic and relaxed atmosphere.

  • DJ Antoine Simar will be behind the decks to keep the party going until 1am.
  • HAPPY HOUR on Filliers Gin from 9pm to 10pm: 1 + 1 free, thanks to our partner Filliers Distillery.
  • Julie Nullens, twice voted “Best Bartender in Belgium” and a master in the art of cocktails, will concoct creations as delicious as they are beautiful!
  • And to make the evening even more unique, our entertainment partner is none other than “Best on road”! On September 14, you’ll be able to admire the splendid cars on display at Porsche Center Liège.

Driving simulator from € 30

Step into the shoes of an elite driver and feel the adrenaline of a race by trying out our new driving simulator! Thanks to high quality images, you can enjoy a total immersion on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.

This driving simulator can now be found on the ground floor of our establishment, near to the reception desk. This area is open to all, whether customers of the hotel or not.

  • Price : 30€ for 30minutes | 50€ for 1hour

Come and test your driving skills and train virtually on the finest circuit in the world! RACB National Team rally driver Tom Rensonnet had the pleasure of inaugurating the simulator as soon as it was installed!

 

If you want to share this driving experience with friends, then why not extend your stay at Le Roannay by enjoying a drink in our Brasserie Lounge!

  • The brasserie Bar is open 7 days a week, from 11.00 to 23.00
  • Food is served at midday and in the evening from Monday to Friday and on Saturday and Sunday from 18.30

Le Roannay receives 15.5/20 rating from Gault & Millau

On 27 November 2023, the 2024 Gault & Millau Awards ceremony took place. Our gourmet restaurant received an impressive rating of 15.5/20, marking a progression since last year!

Thank you to our passionate team, who are committed to our clients on a daily basis alongside our two chefs, Mathieu Van Velde and David Martin

“Ne dit-on pas que le talent n’attend pas le nombre des années ? En un peu plus d’un an, c’est ce que Mathieu Vande Velde s’attelle à nous démontrer dans cet hôtel mythique de la région spadoise rénové avec beaucoup d’élégance. En parachutant son ancien second dans l’établissement, David Martin a visé dans le mille. Pétri de talent, le jeune Mathieu impose sa personnalité dans les assiettes, tout en conservant les marqueurs de la cuisine de son mentor. Dans sa cuisine ouverte, le jeune chef s’affaire derrière un grill argentin pour rôtir quelques asperges délivrées avec un cordon de jaune d’œuf confit au mizo et yuzu.  Il fume à la minute l’aile de raie, la chair délicate étant ensuite associée à de la rhubarbe en diverses textures et des mange-tout. C’est avec un dessert délicat autour de l’amande que le chef démontre en fin de repas sa grande maturité. Monochrome dans sa présentation, ce final surprend par sa légèreté et sa contemporanéité. La sommelière avisée saura vous guider dans une riche carte associant classicisme et originalité. Un demi-point confirme l’évolution de la maison”.
